The new Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal, after he was sworn in.
The President and the PDP had wanted Mr Mulikat Akande-Adeola as Speaker, but the House Members ignored the directive and elected Tambuwal from Sokoto State instead. I guess that's the end of zoning in Nigeria.
