Kidnapped corpers rescued

The Rivers Police Command yesterday announced the rescue of the five youth corps members (one guy and four girls) abducted in the state 13 days ago. The police command said the kidnapped corpers were rescued in a forest at Omerelu around 8pm on Sunday June 19, 2011. One suspect was arrested in connection with the kidnap. The corpers according to the Rivers Commissioner of Police have been handed over to the Director-General of NYSC, Brig-Gen Maharazu Tsiga in good health.
