We all know that Selena Gomez is an American singer and actress.  Selena Gomez was born on July 22 in 1992 at Grand Prairie in Texas. She is also a fashion designer. Selena Gomez described herself as a “huge animal lover. Her mother is a former stage actress Amanda Dawn “Mandy” Teefey . Her father’s name is Ricardo Joel Gomez is of Mexican ancestry.

Selena Gomez began her acting career at the age of seven, playing Gianna on Barney & Friends. Then she later had minor roles in Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over and the TV film Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial By Fire.

Selena Gomez was discovered by the Disney Channel in a USA- wide scouting in 2004. She appeared as a guest star on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and had a guest appearance that later turned into a recurring role on Hannah Montana from seasons two to three. Selena Gomez was cast in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place as one of the three main characters, Alex Russo in early 2007. Becoming a hit, the show premiered to an audience of 5.9 million. Selena Gomez recorded four songs one of which was a cover for the   Wizards of Waverly Place sound tracks; only one single “magic” from the album was released. She recorded a cover of “Cruella de Vil” which included a music video in 2008 for the compilation album Disney Mania 6. Selena Gomez also recorded “Fly to Your Heart” for the 2008 animation film Tinker Bell.

Selena Gomez formed the teen pop band Selena & the Scene in 2009. On September 2009 “Kiss & Tell” the band’s debut studio album was released by Hollywood Records. The album was certified Gold by RIAA on March 5 in 2009. On July 15 in 2010 the album’s single, “Naturally” was certified Platinum by the RIAA.  Selena Gomez signed on to star as one of the two female leads in Romano and Beezus a film adaption of the children’s novel series by Beverly Cleary on February in 2009. Selena Gomez stated that she felt no pleasure in taking more adult role, “I think I am fully aware of my audience and I am still just a kid myself. I would not do a role I do not feel comfortable doing or that my audience would not fee; comfortable seeing.

 Selena Gomez attended the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party with Canadian singer Justin Bieber on February 27 in 2011 and was confirming several months of media speculation about a romantic relationship between the pair. The relationship was Selena Gomez’s most high profile and the two became a teen power couple. It was widely reported that the couple had ended their relationship after approximately two years together in early November in 2012. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber reconciled later that month.
