Natures Gentle Touch Wins Beauty Brand of the Year

Premium hair and scalp solutions provider, Natures Gentle Touch owned by Africa's leading personal style brand, Recare International has won the Beauty Brand of the Year at the Exquisite Ladies of the Year (eloy) Awards 2010.

Natures Gentle Touch which was the only hair care brand nominated for the category amongst other top beauty brands including Sleek, Tara's Orekelewa, BMPro, Lise and Toni Payne Cosmetics emerged the favourite for both style and beauty afficionadoes as well as the consumers who overwhelmingly voted it as deserving of the award.

Over the years, Natures Gentle Touch has been dedicated to providing beauty and personal style solutions to Africans living in Africa with products and knowledge specially designed in tune with the weather conditions, diet and hair texture of Africans living within the continent. In his remark, the Managing Director of Recare International, Mr. Chika Ikenga said that the award is an attestation to the beauty and originality of the African woman. He stated that the coming phase in beauty and style world-over belongs to the African woman.  "Today we have the Caucasians head-over-heels with African fabrics and African designers, and they cant seem to get enough of our style and beauty. So every African women should get ready to unleash her originality to the world". He equally reinstated the brand's belief in the uniqueness of the African style and stated that Natures Gentle Touch has positioned itself as the foremenst designer of personal style products that will empower Africans with the beauty to take on the world.

The eloy Awards is an annual event organized by Exquisite Magazine to recognize and reward outstanding women who have played remarkable roles in the society as well as brands who have supported women with solutions and designs that have made them complete and confident as a woman. The 2010 edition was held at Landmark Village in Lekki, Lagos State.
